Who we are
geotool.co.uk is a free tool that helps UK businesses generate llms.txt files. This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this site, how we use it, and your rights.
What data we collect
We collect the following personal data:
- Email address: entered when you choose to submit the email capture form.
- Business name and website URL: provided alongside your email, used only to personalise our communications.
- IP address: logged server-side when you submit the form, used only for fraud and abuse prevention. Never included in exports or shared with third parties.
- Anonymous analytics: aggregated, non-personal information about how many files are generated and what business types are selected. No personal data is included.
All form data you enter in the generator tool (crawler permissions, legal options, etc.) stays entirely in your browser. It is not sent to our servers.

- To understand aggregate usage of the tool (anonymous data only).
- To prevent abuse of the service (IP address only).
We do not sell your data. We do not share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
Legal basis for processing
We process your email address on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you tick the opt-in checkbox and submit the form. You may withdraw this consent at any time by unsubscribing.
How to unsubscribe
Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it will immediately remove you from our mailing list. You may also email us directly to request removal of your data.
